Show and format
What is Spotlight Studios?
Spotlight Studios is your own quiz show in Munich. You play in flexible teams; professional hosts, varied rounds, buzzers, scoreboard, lights and sound create a real studio atmosphere.
How does a show work?
After welcoming you, your hosts arrange teams to suit the group and explain the first round. You then collect points across varied game and question rounds before a staged finale and awards ceremony.
Do we need prior knowledge or special fitness?
No. The rounds are designed so that different strengths count, including knowledge, tactics, estimating, reaction and teamwork. No high level of fitness is required.
Groups and teams
How many people is Spotlight Studios designed for?
The standard format is designed for 6 to 12 people. Smaller groups pay the six-person minimum charge. Groups larger than 12 can make a non-binding enquiry at hello@spotlightstudios.live.
Will we be mixed with other guests?
No. Your group books the studio exclusively and is not combined with other participants.
Is there a minimum age?
Participants must be 18 or older. Under-18s may take part when accompanied by an adult supervisor.
Visit and studio
How long is the experience and when should we arrive?
The experience lasts two hours. Please arrive in good time so that your show can start punctually. Your confirmation contains the exact start time and directions.
Is the studio step-free?
The entrance and toilet are reachable without steps. The toilet does not, however, have dedicated accessible-toilet adaptations.
Where is the studio?
The studio is at Barer Straße 46, 80799 Munich, in the rear building on the ground floor. The Pinakotheken stop, served by trams 27 and 28, is only a few steps away.
Pricing and payment
How much does Spotlight Studios cost?
From €39 per person. The exact price depends on your group size and includes VAT. The full price ladder is on the pricing page.
How do I book and pay?
Choose your slot and group size in the booking process and pay in full online at booking. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Cash at the venue and pay-later invoices are not offered.
Is a drink included?
Yes. One complimentary non-alcoholic drink per person is included in the price.
Booking and changes
When are shows available?
Regular slots run Tuesday to Saturday at 15:00, 17:30 and 20:00. Online booking closes four days before the slot. You can email us with a shorter-notice enquiry, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Cancel up to seven days before the start for a full refund of the amount paid. After that, refunds and rescheduling are excluded. Full details are in the terms.
